University in focus -International University of Management (Namibia)

IUMDid you Know that………..

  • The International University of Management (IUM) has officially opened its new campus in Nkurenkuru in the Kavango West Region.
  • This new campus, brings to date the total number of IUM campuses to six (6) in Namibia. Other IUM campuses are located in Windhoek; Swakopmund; Walvis Bay and Ongwediva.
  • The courses offered at the IUM are accredited by the Namibian Qualifications Authority.
  • IUM works in association with professional organizations and universities including The Association of Business Executives (ABE) UK, Asia e University (Malaysia), Shareworld Open University of Malawi
  • The IUM currently caters for over 8,000 students with its main campus in the capital Windhoek and branches in Swakopmund, Ongwediva and Walvis-Bay.

Vice Chancellor: Mrs V. Namwandi

  • IUM was founded by Dr David Richard Namwandi, first as a non-degree awarding body on 26 October 2002.
  • It obtained University status when it was officially launched by the then state president of the Republic of Namibia, His Excellency Dr. Sam Nujoma.
