Following an evaluation process by the African Institute for Development (AID) and the Association for Development of Education in Africa (ADEA), the prize of the ‘Best Budding Researcher in Education has been conferred on Dr. Beche Emmanuel at an event organised in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire.
At a ceremony organised (on the instructions of the Rector of Université de Maroua) for the presentation of this prize to the University Community on June 19, 2015, faculty members expressed their appreciation to Dr. Beche for the honour done the University through this award.
Earlier in 2014, Dr. Beche won the ‘Louis D’Hainaut’ prize for the best Doctorate thesis in Educational Technology for the Africa, Asia and Latin America regions. This prize, sponsored by the University of Mons in Belgium and the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie, was handed to him during a colloquium organised by the International Association for University Pedagogy.
Being a specialist in the Sociology of Technologies and Innovations, Dr. Beche Emmanuel has extensive competence in the domain of Information and Communication Technologies in Education. Following a brilliant studies in Sociology in the University of Yaounde I, he defended a Doctorate (Ph.D) in Sociology of Education in the same university, and later a Doctorate in Educational Psychology in the University of Liège (Belgium) in June 2013.
He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Sceince of Education of the Higher Teacher’s Training College in Maroua, Cameroon.
